Nikola Vuković is the CEO of Decenter and has been part of the team since its founding. He started his career very early, during his first year at university, in the R&D department of Devana Technologies – one of the pioneering companies in the local tech ecosystem. When Decenter was established, Nikola was among the people who built its R&D from the ground up, working as an engineer on product development and exploring new technologies in the DeFi space.

Over the years, his role grew beyond engineering. Nikola became a key figure in shaping both Decenter’s product and its culture, navigating the company through different organizational changes. His natural progression from engineer to CEO reflects not only technical excellence but also readiness to take on challenges outside of his comfort zone in order to bring long-term value to the team and the organization.

Beyond Decenter, Nikola is also one of the co-organizers of ETH Belgrade, helping connect the local Ethereum community with the global ecosystem. This broader perspective, together with his hands-on experience in building and leading, makes him a strong voice on how to embrace change and turn it into growth.
